Target Store Comes to Manhattan

But can it compete with the Chinese dollar stores?

The outcry in middle America is that the bigbox stores drives the local entrepreneurs out of business. Can this happen in the Big Apple? Its only the upscale "Target", not Walmart or K-mart, and its Harlem not downtown, but we shall see! Competition is healthy, but it is hard to imagine the bigboxers underselling New York City's entrepreneurs. Competition is healthy and as Schumpeter said human progress occures through the creative destruction of orders institutions and ideas.
